একদিকে করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে নাজেহাল বঙ্গবাসী, তার মধ্যেই আবার ঘূর্ণিঝড় 'যশ' আছড়ে পড়তে চলেছে। সব মিলিয়ে এক ভয়ঙ্কর পরিস্থিতির মধ্যে রয়েছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ। এই পরিস্থিতিতে যশ মোকাবিলায় মাঠে নামতে চান রাজ্যের পঞ্চায়েত মন্ত্রী সুব্রত মুখোপাধ্যায়, তিনি আপাতত হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন। এই নিয়ে হাসপাতালে আর্জি জানান নারদ কাণ্ডে অভিযুক্ত এই নেতা, কিন্তু তাঁর এই আর্জি মানতে রাজি নন এসএসকেএম হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসকেরা। তাতেও চুপ করে বসে থাকার ব্যাক্তি নন সুব্রতবাবু। ফলে সোমবার তাঁর শারীরিক অবস্থা খতিয়ে দেখার জন্য মেডিক্যাল বোর্ড বসবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
এবিষয়ে এসএসকেএম হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসকেরা জানান, সুব্রত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের হৃদযন্ত্রের গতি এখনও স্বাভাবিক ছন্দে নেই। তাঁকে অ্যাঞ্জিয়োগ্রাফ করার জন্য বলা হয়েছে মেডিক্যাল বোর্ডের থেকে। কিন্তু এই পরিস্থিতিতে তিনি রাজি না হয়ে বাড়ি যেতে চাইছেন। কিন্তু তাঁর এই আর্জি মানতে নারাজ চিকিৎসকেরা। সুব্রতবাবুর নাছোড়বান্দা স্বভাবের কারণে এই পরিস্থিতিতে তাঁকে হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়া নিরাপদ কি না, তা খতিয়ে দেখার জন্য সোমবার মেডিক্যাল বোর্ড বসানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।
উল্লেখ্য, নারদ কাণ্ডে অভিযুক্ত ৪ নেতার মধ্যে ৩ নেতা হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন ছিলেন। ইতিমধ্যেই তাঁদের মধ্যে শোভন চট্টোপাধ্যায় হাসপাতাল থেকে ছুটি পেয়ে গৃহবন্দি রয়েছেন আদালতের নির্দেশে। এখন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন সুব্রত মুখোপাধ্যায় এবং মদন মিত্র। মদন মিত্রকে ২৪ ঘণ্টা অক্সিজেন সাপোর্টেই রাখা হচ্ছে বলে জানান চিকিৎসকেরা।
