করোনা মহামারীর কামড়ে প্রাণ হারালেন রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্যকর্তা গৌতম চৌধুরী। গত এপ্রিল মাসে করোনার থাবা পড়ে তাঁর শরীরে, দীর্ঘ কয়েকদিনের লড়াইয়ের পর শেষ পর্যন্ত মৃত্যুর মুখে ঢলে গেল এই স্বাস্থ্যকর্তা।
উল্লেখ্য, এপ্রিল মাসে তাঁর শরীরে করোনা আক্রমণ করে। তারপর থেকেই ভর্তি ছিলেন হাসপাতালে তিনি। শারীরিক অবস্থার সেরকম কোনো পরিবর্তন হয়নি সেই কয়েকদিনে। তবে এই কিছুদিন ধরে তাঁর শরীরের অবনতি হতে থাকে। তাই তাঁকে মেডিকা হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরিত করা হয়। কিন্তু সেখানে ভর্তি করেও কোনো লাভ হল না। এখানেই প্রয়াত হলেন গৌতম চৌধুরী।
