রাইজিং বেঙ্গল ঢাকা ব্যুরো: বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষা উপমন্ত্রী মহিবুল হাসান চৌধুরী বলেছেন, বিদেশ থেকে কোটি কোটি টাকা এনে এই হেফাজত ইসলাম নাম দিয়ে বিএনপি-জামাত অপশক্তির সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়েছে। তারা বাংলাদেশে রাষ্ট্র ক্ষমতা পরিবর্তন করার জন্য কিছু এতিম শিশুকে উল্টাপাল্টা বুঝাইয়ে, হাতে লাঠি দিয়ে নামিয়ে দিয়েছে। তাদের লাশের উপরে এরা ক্ষমতায় যেতে চায়। তবে শেখ হাসিনা যতদিন রয়েছেন, ততদিন সেই অপশক্তি সফল হবে না বলে মন্তব্য করেন তিনি।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২৯ এপ্রিল) বন্দর নগরী চট্টগ্রামে চট্টগ্রাম নগর ছাত্রলীগের সাবেক সভাপতি এম আর আজিমের উদ্যোগে নগরীর বাগমনিরাম ওয়ার্ডের একটি কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে দলীয় নেতাকর্মীদের মাঝে ঈদ উপহার বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে তিনি এই দাবি করেন।
আওয়ামী লীগের নেতাকর্মীরা ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য করার ক্ষেত্রে পিছিয়ে আছে এটা ঠিক। বাংলাদেশের প্রথম সারির ব্যবসায়ী থেকে শুরু করে একেবারে মধ্যম সারির বা নিম্ন সারির ব্যবসায়ী যদি দেখবেন ঘুরে ঘুরে, ওই বিএনপি-জামাতের সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত লোকজনই ব্যবসা বাণিজ্য করছে।” এসময় দলের নেতাকর্মীদের নিজেদের মধ্যে সহযোগিতা বাড়ানোর মাধ্যমে সংগঠনের মধ্যে ভাতৃত্ববোধ শক্তিশালী করার আহ্বান জানান তিনি।
