মুকুল রায় এবার কৃষ্ণনগর থেকে ভোটে লড়বেন
রাইজিং বেঙ্গল নিউজ ব্যুরো: আর নেপথ্যে নয়। ২০২১ সালের ভোটের লড়াইয়ে এবার সরাসরি মাঠে নামছেন মুকুল রায়। সবকিছু ঠিকঠাক থাকলে তিনি এবার কৃষ্ণনগর উত্তর বিধান সভা থেকেই বিজেপির প্রার্থী হচ্ছেন। বুধবার রাতেই দিল্লিতে অমিত শাহের সঙ্গে বৈঠকে বিষয়টি চূড়ান্ত হয়ে যায়।
উল্লেখ্য, কৃষ্ণনগরে দুটি বিধানসভার আসন রয়েছে। একটি উত্তর আর অপরটি দক্ষিণ। কৃষ্ণনগর উত্তর আসনে তৃণমূল প্রার্থী হয়েছেন এবার অভিনেত্রী কৌশানী মুখোপাধ্যায়। তাঁর বিরুদ্ধেই বিজেপির প্রার্থী হচ্ছেন মুকুল।
এখন প্রশ্ন উঠেছে নদীয়া থেকেই কেন বিজেপির সর্বভারতীয় সহ-সভাপতি মুকুল রায়কে প্রার্থী হিসেবে বাছা হল?
ওয়াকিবহাল মহলের বক্তব্য, নদীয়া জেলা মুকুল হাতের তালুর মত চেনেন। বাংলায় বিজেপিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে গত কয়েক বছর ধরেই ঘুঁটি সাজাচ্ছেন তিনি। তাই রাজ্যের প্রতিটি জেলায় তিনি ছুটে বেরিয়েছেন।
এবার তাই অমিত শাহ মুকুল রায়কেই সরাসরি ভোটের ময়দানে নামিয়ে বাজিমাত করতে চাইছেন। গত বিধান সভা নির্বাচনে ১২ হাজার ভোটে উত্তর কৃষ্ণনগর আসনটি জেতে তৃণমূল। কিন্তু গত লোকসভায় হেরে যায় তৃণমূল।
