আজ অর্থাৎ সোমবার সকাল থেকেই মুখ ভার আকাশের। সকাল থেকেই টানা বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে এবং মেঘাচ্ছন্ন রয়েছে আকাশ। তবে এটা ইয়াসের জেরে নয়, বঙ্গোপসাগরে সক্রিয় হয়েছে মৌসুমী বায়ু, তারই জেরে সকাল থেকেই ঝিরিঝিরি বৃষ্টি পড়ছে শহর জুড়ে।
আবহাওয়া দফতর সূত্রে খবর, আগামী কয়েক দিন দক্ষিণবঙ্গের কলকাতা সহ বাকি জেলাগুলিতে বজ্রবিদ্যুৎসহ বৃষ্টি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। এদিন সকাল থেকেই তার প্রভাব দেখা গিয়েছে আকাশে। কিন্তু এই বজ্র বিদ্যুৎ সহ বৃষ্টি হলেও গরম একই থাকবে বলে মত হাওয়া দফতরের। গরমের পারদ কমবে না বরং আগামী দিন দক্ষিণবঙ্গে তাপমাত্রা অন্তত ৩ থেকে ৪ ডিগ্রি বৃদ্ধির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।
অন্যদিকে, রাজ্যের উত্তরবঙ্গের আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাস সম্পর্কে হাওয়া অফিসের মত, উত্তরবঙ্গে জলপাইগুড়ি, আলিপুরদুয়ার, কোচবিহার, কালিম্পং ও দার্জিলিং সহ আরও কিছু এলাকায় আগামী দু’ দিন ভারী বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এছাড়াও অসম, মেঘালয়, মণিপুর, মিজোরাম, অরুণাচল প্রদেশ, নাগাল্যান্ড, সিকিমেও হতে পারে ভারী থেকে অতিভারি বৃষ্টি। এছাড়াও আগামী সপ্তাহের মধ্যেই কেরলে বর্ষা ঢোকার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। কেরল, কর্ণাটক-সহ দক্ষিণ ভারতের বেশ কিছু রাজ্যে ইতিমধ্যেই শুরু হয়েছে বর্ষার বৃষ্টিপাত।
