‘রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্য কর্মীদের স্পেশাল লোকাল ট্রেনে উঠতে দেওয়া হোক’, রেলকে চিঠি নবান্নর

দেশে করোনা সংক্রমণের হার দিন দিন লাফিয়ে বেড়ে চলেছে। তাই বুধবার মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পদে শপথ গ্রহণ করার পরদিনই রাজ্যের লোকাল ট্রেন চলাচল বন্ধ করেছে। কিন্ত জরুরি পরিষেবার কর্মীদের জন্য বিশেষ ট্রেন চালাচ্ছে রেল। এবার সেই স্পেশাল ট্রেনে যাতে সরকারি ও বেসরকারি স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থার সঙ্গে যুক্ত কর্মীদের উঠতে দেওয়া হয় তার জন্য রেলের পূর্ব ও দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব শাখায় হাওড়া-শিয়ালদহ ডিভিশনে চিঠি পাঠাল নবান্ন।
এই বিষয়ে অবশ্য রেল কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে ফোনে কথা কথাও বলেছেন নবান্নের আধিকারিকরা। তারপর অফিসিয়াল ভাবে চিঠি পাঠানো হয়। চিঠিতে লেখা ছিল, "সরকারি-বেসরকারি স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থার সঙ্গে যাদের যোগ রয়েছে তাদের যেন আই কার্ড দেখে স্পেশাল লোকাল ট্রেনে ওঠার অনুমতি দেওয়া হয়।"
এছাড়াও বেশকিছু ঘটনা নিয়ে গত ২ দিন ধরে নবান্নে নানান অভিযোগ জমা পড়েছে। হুগলির রিষড়ার বাসিন্দা স্বপন ঘোষ অভিযোগ তুলে বলেন, "গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার আমি স্পেশাল ট্রেনে উঠি। কিন্তু উত্তরপাড়া স্টেশনে আমায় নামিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। আমি আই কার্ড দেখালেও কথা শোনা হয়নি। আমি কজে যেতে পারিনি।" স্বপন ঘোষ পেশায় একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালের স্টাফ।
