রাজ্যপাল এদিন টুইট করে লেখেন, "ঘূর্ণিঝড় ইয়াস মোকাবিলায় মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের দায়বদ্ধতা প্রশংসনীয়। সঙ্গে সেনাবাহিনী, বিমানবাহিনী, নৌবাহিনী, উপকূলরক্ষী, বিএসএফ, এনডিআরএফ ও আবহাওয়া দফতরের অবদান প্রশংসনীয়। কিন্তু মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর সরাসরি দুর্গতদের হাতে ত্রাণ পৌঁছনো উচিত ছিল।"
বুধবার ইয়াস মোকাবিলায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর প্রশংসা করে দিলীপ ঘোষ বলেন, "আমফানের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে শিক্ষা নিয়ে এবার রাজ্য সরকার যথেষ্ট তৎপরতার সঙ্গে ভাল কাজ করেছে। ঝড় নিয়ে উপকূলের মানুষকে সতর্ক করেছে আগেভাগেই। কিন্তু পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক হলে তবেই বোঝা যাবে ক্ষয়ক্ষতির পরিমাণ। তবে আপাতদৃষ্টিতে সব কিছু ঠিক হচ্ছে বলেই মনে হচ্ছে।"
