রবিবারে বিক্ষিপ্তভাবে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন বিজেপি কর্মীরা। এই হামলাতেই অভিযোগের তীর তৃণমূলের দিকে।
বিজেপির তরফ থেকে অভিযোগ করা হয়েছে যে, রবিবার রাতে সাড়ে আটটা নাগাদ কসবা আসনের আনন্দপুরের পশ্চিম চৌবাগায় বিজেপির কার্যালয়ে দুষ্কৃতীরা হামলা করেছে। তারা এও অভিযোগ করেছেন যে, উক্ত বিজেপি কার্যালয়ের মহিলাদের হেনস্থা করেছে দুষ্কৃতীরা। উক্ত পার্টি অফিসে হাতাহাতির শুরু হয়ে যায় এবং বোতল ছোঁড়াছুঁড়ি শুরু হয়ে যায়। এদিকে বিজেপির তরফ থেকে দাবি করা হয়েছে যে, যেসব দুষ্কৃতীরা বিজেপির কার্যালয়ে হামলা করেছিল, তারা তৃণমূল আশ্রিত।
এরপরে আরও রাতের দিকে উত্তর চব্বিশ পরগণার নৈহাটিতে গুলিচালাচালির খবর পাওয়া যায়। এরই মাঝে উক্ত সংঘর্ষে মিঠুন পাসোয়ান নামক এক বিজেপির কর্মীর গুলিবিদ্ধ হন। উক্ত আহত বিজেপি কর্মী বর্তমানে কল্যানীর জেএনএম হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। স্থানীয় বিজেপি কর্মীরা অভিযোগ করেছেন যে, তৃণমূল আশ্রিত দুষ্কৃতীরা বিজেপির সদস্যদের হুমকি দিচ্ছিল। এছাড়াও, আহত ব্যক্তি মিঠুন পাসোয়ান এর আগেও 22 শে মার্চে আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন।
নৈহাটিতে গুলি গুলিচালাচালির ঘটনা প্রসঙ্গে দিলীপ ঘোষ মন্তব্য করেছেন যে, প্রতি দফা ভোটের আগে এভাবে বিজেপির উপর হামলা চালিয়ে লড়াই থেকে সরিয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা চলছে। কিন্তু এভাবে বিজেপিকে রোখা যাবে না। কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনীর তত্বাবধানে স্বচ্ছভাবে ভোট প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হবে এবং বিজেপি ক্ষমতায় আসবে"।
তৃণমূল অবশ্য বিজেপির সমস্ত অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করে দিয়েছে এবং পাল্টা দাবি করেছে যে বিজেপির গোষ্ঠীদ্বন্ধের জেরেই জেরেই উক্ত হামলা হয়েছে।
