বিকেলে খেলতে গিয়ে আর বাড়ি ফিরল না তিন শিশু। ইটভাটায় খেলতে গিয়ে সেখানের জমা জলে ডুবে মৃত্যু হল একই পরিবারের দুই ছেলে এবং এক মেয়ের। মুর্শিদাবাদের এই মর্মান্তিক ঘটনায় চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে এলাকা জুড়ে। শোকের ছায়া ঘনিয়ে এসেছে পরিবারের ওপর। পুলিশ ইটভাটার মালিকের খোঁজ চালাচ্ছে।
উল্লেখ্য, মুর্শিদাবাদের রানিতলা থানার নন্দনপুর এলাকার বাসিন্দা তিন শিশু সহ তাদের পরিবার। শনিবার বিকেলে ৮ বছরের সাদিকুল শেখ, ৬ বছরের রশিদ শেখ এবং ৭ বছরের আয়েশা খাতুন এলাকার ইটভাটায় খেলতে যায়। তারপর থেকেই আর বাড়ি ফেরে না তারা। সেখানের জলে ডুবে মারা যায় এই তিন শিশু। খবর পেয়ে পরিবার সহ স্থানীয়রা সেখানে পৌঁছলে দেখতে পায় তাদের। তৎক্ষণাৎ উদ্ধার করে তিনজনকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় নশিপুর হাসপাতালে। কিন্তু সেখানে নিয়ে যাওয়া হলেই চিকিৎসকেরা মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে। শোকের ছায়া নেমে আসে পরিবারের ওপর। এলাকায় পুলিশও পৌঁছে যায় এবং ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করে দেয়।
পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, শনিবার বিকেলে ঝড় বৃষ্টির পর তিন ভাই বোন খেলতে যায় ইটভাটার কাছে। সন্ধ্যে নেমে এলেও বাড়ি না ফেরায়, পরিবারের লোকজনেরা বাচ্চাদের খোঁজ করে। এর মধ্যেই স্থানীয় এক ব্যক্তির নজরে আসে, ইটভাটাতে ইট তৈরি করার জন্য মাটি কেটে যে গভীর খাদের সৃষ্টি হয়েছে, সেখানে দু’ টি শিশু ভাসছে। এই দৃশ্য দেখে সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই খবর দেয় এলাকায় তিনি। স্থানীয়রা এসে প্রথমে দুই শিশুকে প্রথমে উদ্ধার করে। তারপর তল্লাশি চালিয়ে জলের তলা থেকে বের করা হয় আয়েশার দেহ। এই ঘটনার জন্য স্থানীয়রা ইটভাটার মালিককেই দায়ী করছে। কিন্তু সেই মাইল এখন বেপাত্তা। তাই তার খোঁজ চালাচ্ছে পুলিশ বাহিনী। এই ঘটনায় থমথমে হয়ে গিয়েছে গোটা এলাকা।
