করোনা মোকাবিলায় মানুষের পাশে থাকার জন্য বেলেঘাটা ৩৩ নম্বর পুজো কমিটি দুয়ারে দশভূজা দুর্গোৎসব অক্সিজেন হাব তৈরির উদ্যোগ নিয়েছেন। রবিবার থেকেই শুরু হতে চলেছে এই উদ্যোগ। স্থানীয় বিধায়ক ও ক্লাবের উপদেষ্টা পরেশ পালের সাহায্যে শুরু হতে চলেছে হাবের কাজ। পাশাপাশি এই উদ্যোগের প্রথম পর্যায়ে থাকবে দুটি বেড, অক্সিজেন ও ওষুধ। এছাড়াও ২৪ ঘণ্টা অ্যাম্বুলেন্স ও অক্সিজেন সিলিন্ডারের ব্যবস্থা থাকবে।
অপরদিকে, একইভাবে সেফ হোম তৈরি করা হল ত্রিধারা সম্মিলনী ও দেশপ্রিয় পার্ক দুর্গা উৎসব কমিটির উদ্যোগে ৮৬ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডে। এখানে ৩০ টি বেডের সেফ হোম থাকবে, সঙ্গে সবরকম মেডিক্যাল সাপোর্ট থাকবে। এই সেফ হোমের সাহায্য করা হবে স্বাস্থ্য দফতরের পক্ষ থেকে।
