উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ করলেন এক বিশেষ ঘোষণা। উত্তরপ্রদেশ সরকারের তরফে কোনো সাংবাদিক যদি করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা যান তাহলে তাঁর পরিবারকে দেওয়া হবে ১০ লক্ষ টাকা।
হিন্দি সাংবাদিকতা দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ বক্তব্য পেশ করেন। এদিন সাংবাদিকতার কথা উল্লেখ্য করে তিনি বললেন, “স্বাধীনতার আগে থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত হিন্দি সাংবাদিকতার গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম।
তিনি করোনা আবহের কথা উল্লেখ করেও বললেন, “করোনা আবহের মধ্যেও দেশজুড়ে সাংবাদিক তথা সংবাদ মাধ্যমের কর্মীরা সাত দিন ২৪ ঘণ্টা পরিশ্রম করছেন। সংক্রমণের ঝুঁকি থাকা সত্ত্বেও সেই কাজ করে চলেছেন তাঁরা”।
উল্লেখ্য, করোনার আবহে সারা দেশে বহু সাংবাদিক করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন। উত্তরপ্রদেশেও বেশ কয়েকজন সাংবাদিকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে। বর্তমান পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনা করেই সাংবাদিকদের পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে যোগী সরকার।
