রাইজ়িং বেঙ্গল নিউজ় ব্যুরো: দেশ তথা বিশ্বজুড়ে যেভাবে করোনা মহামারীর তার প্রভাব ফেলেছে, সেখান থেকে বাঁচার একমাত্র উপায় হল টিকা। কিন্তু এবার করোনা টিকা নেওয়ার পরই মৃত্যু হল এক ৬৮ বছরের বৃদ্ধের। জানা গিয়েছে, করোনা টিকা নেওয়ার পর অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মৃত্যু হয়েছে তাঁর, এমনই জানালেন সরকারি প্যানেল। এই প্রথম টিকা নেওয়ার পর মৃত্যু হল কোনো ভারতীয় মানুষের। ঘটনায় যথারীতি আতঙ্কের সৃষ্টি হয়েছে দেশে।
উল্লেখ্য, ‘অ্যাডভার্স ইভেন্টস ফলোয়িং ইমিউনাইজেশন’ অর্থাৎ এএফএফআইয়ের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, করোনা টিকা নেওয়ার পর মোট ৩১ জনের শরীরে গুরুতর পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া দেখা দিয়েছে। তার মধ্যেই একজনের মৃত্যুও হয়েছে। ওই বৃদ্ধ গত ৮ মার্চ টিকা নিয়েছিলেন। তারপরই অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিসে মৃত্যু হয়েছে তাঁর।
এই বিষয়ে এএফএফআই কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান ড. এনকে অরোরা বলেন, "ভ্যাকসিন নেওয়ার পর ওই বৃদ্ধ অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা যান। ভারতে এই ঘটনা প্রথম।"
চিকিৎসকরা জানিয়েছেন, অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিস হল অ্যালার্জির এক ধরনের মারাত্মক রূপ। ৬৮ বছরের ওই বৃদ্ধ ছাড়াও এই অ্যালার্জিতে আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন ২১ বছর বয়সী এক মহিলা ও ২২ বছর বয়সী এক ব্যক্তি। টিকা নেওয়ার পরই তাঁরা আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন। সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই তাঁদের হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়, তবে এখন তাঁরা সুস্থ।
