ভারতের মধ্যেই তৈরি হল প্রথম সেন্ট্রালি এসি রেল টার্মিনাল
এক ঝটকায় ওপরের ছবিটি দেখে মনে হতেই পারে, যেন কোন বিদেশের হোটেল বা অট্টালিকার ছবি। তবে, এই ছবিটি কিন্তু আমাদের দেশের ভিতরের ছবি। এটি হল দেশের মধ্যে প্রথম সেন্ট্রালি এসি রেল টার্মিনাল। এটির নাম দেওয়া হয়েছে, স্যার এম ভিসভেসভারাইয়া রেল টার্মিনাল। ২০১৫-১৬ সালে এই টার্মিনাল তৈরির কথা ঘোষণা করা হয়৷
এটির অবস্থান বেঙ্গালুরুতে। সদ্য তৈরি করা এই টার্মিনালের ছবি সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় শেয়ার করেন, রেলমন্ত্রী পীযুষ গোয়েল। স্যার এম ভিসভেসভারাইয়া রেল টার্মিনালের শুভ উদ্বোধন করা হবে ১৫ই মার্চে।

এই টার্মিনাল তৈরিতে মোট খরচ করা হয়েছে ৩১৪ কোটি টাকা। আসুন এবারে জেনে নেওয়া যাক, এই নতুন অত্যাধুনিক টার্মিনালে কি কি থাকবে। সূত্র মারফৎ জানা গিয়েছে, একেবারে বিমানবন্দরের মত সবরকমের সুযোগ সুবিধা থাকবে। মোট ৭ টি প্ল্যাটফর্ম করা হয়েছে।
এছাড়া, সকল যাত্রীদের কথা মাথায় রেখে বানানো হয়েছে এসকেলেটর, সাবওয়ে, লিফট। গোটা টার্মিনাল জুড়ে প্রায় ৪২০০ বর্গমিটার জায়গা করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, ফুডকোর্ট থেকে শুরু করে আপার ক্লাস ওয়েটিং রুম, ভিআইপি লাউঞ্জ, রিয়েল টাইম প্যাসেঞ্জার ইনফরমেশন সিস্টেম মজুত থাকবে। আশা করা হয়েছে, প্রত্যেকদিন ৫০টি ট্রেন ও ৫০ হাজার মানুষ বেঙ্গালুরুর এই নতুন রেল স্টেশন দিয়ে যাতায়াত করবেন।
