রাইজ়িং বেঙ্গল নিউজ় ব্যুরো: শুক্রবার, কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারি কর্মচারীদের জন্য শ্রম ও কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রক ডিএ বা ভেরিয়েবল ডিয়ারনেস অ্যালাউন্স বৃদ্ধির ঘোষণা করল। প্রায় ১.৫ কোটি সরকারি কর্মীরা লাভবান হতে চলেছে। আগে প্রতি মাসে ভেরিয়েবল ডিএ ছিল ১০৫ টাকা, সেটি বেড়ে প্রতি মাসে দাঁড়াল ২০৫ টাকায়। এটি কার্যকারী হয়েছে চলতি বছরের ১ এপ্রিলেই।
এবারে খুব স্বাভাবিকভাবেই বেড়ে যাবে সরকারি কর্মীদের বেতন ভেরিয়েবল ডিএ-র কারণে। এই সুবিধা পেতে চলেছেন বন্দর, রেল, ওয়েল ফিল্ড ও অন্যান্য সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের কর্মীরা। এই সুবিধা লাগু হবে কন্ট্র্যাক্ট ও ক্যাজুয়াল দু’ ধরনের কর্মীদের ক্ষেত্রেই। এ বিষয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় চিফ লেবর কমিশনার ডিপিএস নেগি বলেছেন, 'কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানে যে সকল কর্মীরা কাজ করছেন, তাঁদের ডিএ প্রতি মাসে ১০৫ থেকে বাড়িয়ে ২১০ টাকা করা হল।'
অন্যদিকে, শ্রম মন্ত্রক থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, 'এরকম সময় যখন গোট দেশ করোনার জেরে এক অস্বাভাবিক এক পরিস্থিতির মধ্যে দিয়ে যাচ্ছে তখন ডিএ বৃদ্ধির জেরে কিছুটা স্বস্তি পাবেন কর্মীরা ৷ কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার ভেরিয়েবল ডিএ ১ এপ্রিল ২০২১ থেকে রিভাইজ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।'
