বাংলাদেশের অনন্য পুরাকীর্তি জোড় বাংলা মন্দির
রাইজ়িং বেঙ্গল ঢাকা ব্যুরো: জোড় বাংলা মন্দির বাংলাদেশের পাবনা জেলার সদর উপজেলার দক্ষিণ রাঘবপুরে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম একটি প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক নিদর্শন। যেহেতু এই মন্দির নির্মানের ব্যাপারে সুনির্দিষ্ট শিলালিপি পাওয়া যায়নি তাই এর সঠিক নির্মাণকালের ইতিহাস সম্বন্ধে তেমন ধারণা পাওয়া যায়নি।
তবে স্থানীয় জনশ্রুতি অনুসারে, জোড় বাংলা মন্দিরটি ১৮ শতকের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে নির্মাণ করেছিলেন ব্রজমোহন ক্রোড়ী নামক একজন যিনি তৎকালীন মুর্শিদাবাদের নবাবের তহশীলদার ছিলেন।
জোড় বাংলা মন্দিরটি ইট দিয়ে নির্মিত একটি মঞ্চের উপর স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। উপরের পাকা ছাদটি দোচালা প্রকৃতির। মন্দিরটির সামনে তিনটি প্রবেশ পথ রয়েছে যেগুলো ২টি স্তম্ভের সাহায্য নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। দেয়ালের নকশা ও কারুকার্যের ভিত্তিতে এটি অনেকাংশে কান্তনগর মন্দিরের অনুরূপ স্থাপনা। ১৮৯৭ সালে ভূমিকম্পে মন্দিরটির বেশ কিছু অংশ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়। বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশ প্রত্নতত্ত্ব অধিদপ্তর মন্দিরটিকে প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক স্থান হিসেবে তালিকাভুক্ত করে সংস্কারের কাজ করেছে।
