রাইজিং বেঙ্গল ঢাকা ব্যুরো: বাংলাদেশের একুশে পদকপ্রাপ্ত সংগীতশিল্পী ও স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতার কেন্দ্রের অন্যতম কণ্ঠ সৈনিক ইন্দ্রমোহন রাজবংশী আর নেই। বুধবার (৭ এপ্রিল) সকাল ১১টায় রাজধানী ঢাকায় বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেছেন তিনি।
এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে স্বনামধন্য আরেকজন গণসংগীতশিল্পী ফকির আলমগীর বলেন, ‘সকাল ১১টায় রাজবংশী (ইন্দ্রমোহন রাজবংশী) মারা গেছেন। আমি তার রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি। আমরা এক অমূল্য রত্মকে হারালাম।’
জানা যায়, বৈশ্বিক মহামারি (কভিড-১৯) করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে গত ৪ এপ্রিল থেকে রাজধানী ঢাকার বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় হাসপাতালে (বিএসএমএমইউ) চিকিৎসাধীন এই কিংবদন্তি সংগীতশিল্পী। এরপর অবস্থার অবনতি হলে তাকে আইসিইউতে (ইনটেনসিভ কেয়ার ইউনিট) নেয়া হয়। সেখানেই আজ বুধবার (৭ এপ্রিল) শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন তিনি।
কিংবদন্তি সংগীত শিল্পী ইন্দ্রমোহন রাজবংশী মূলত লোকগানের শিল্পী ও মুক্তিযোদ্ধা। তিনি শুরুর জীবনে ভাওয়াইয়া, ভাটিয়ালী, জারি, সারি, মুর্শিদি ইত্যাদি গান গেয়ে মুগ্ধতা ছড়িয়েছেন গ্রাম-বাংলায়। পরবর্তীতে রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের গান গেয়ে নিজেকে রবীন্দ্রসংগীতশিল্পী হিসেবে দর্শকদের হৃদয়ের মাঝে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন। তিনি ২০১৮ সালে সংগীত বিভাগে একুশে পদক সম্মাননা লাভ করেন।
